Have you ever wanted to be in your favourite characters shoes? Well,this is the day for you! Monday,October ,31st Eastwood will be holding its annual Read-O-Ween were you can be anything you want! For instance Mario from Mario and Luigi or Gandalf from the famous book Lord of the Rings. All you need is a beard, a grey cape and a wizards hat. But remember, no gory make-up, masks or weapons. Besides that, Eastwood will also be having all types of math activities, language activities and at the end of the day, we will be hosting a Read-O-Ween dance. There you will be able to purchase chips and pop for only 1$ and the intermediate students can also purchase glow sticks for 50 cents each. Further more canned good donations are kindly accepted, just remember to check the expiry date. But that is not all, all the students from Eastwood will participate in this spooky day as we celebrate reading. Will you be ready for Read-O-Ween?We will find out .

Also, a dance so bring in a canned good.There will be glow sticks on sale for 50cents each and pop and chips for 1.00.The event is for EY-8 it’s for everybody at the school.The dance will be hosted in the gym.That day their will be math,literacy/book buddies and the dance at the end of the day.You can dress up as Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley or Voldemort.You can dress up as Percy Jackson characters. You cannot wear a mask and no weapons and a little bit of make up, not to much that it would scare little kids.We are their to celebrate the joy/love of reading. The dance is for grade 3-8 the canned goods go to the local food bank. Hope to see you there.
